"Pollinate: Honey Bee" is an original watercolor painting by Victoria K. Chapman. This delightfully colorful series of paintings called "Pollinate" features 7 different critters who are native or naturalized to New England in the United States and pollinate our flowers and trees. These beneficial birds and insects are an integral part of the native ecosystem and our agricultural systems. This series pays homage to these tiny wonders and their environments.

"Pollinate: Honey Bee" features a beneficial and indispensable asset to our agricultural system. The honey bee is a naturalized species of pollinating insect that is used throughout the U.S. agricultural system to pollinate food crops. This honey bee is shown atop a sunflower. Rows of blooming apple trees in an orchard lay in the background, as well as honey combs filled with honey.

For each sale from this series, the artist will donate 10% of proceeds to a local environmental charity of the artist's choice (eg: Greater Worcester Land Trust or Kestrel Land Trust).
