"Guardians of the Birch: Purple Mist" is an original watercolor painting by Victoria K. Chapman. Part of a three piece set, "Guardians of the Birch" works as solo paintings or as a triptych, depicting stylized outlines of deer leaping through a birch forest. This part of the set shows Two deer bounding through a misty purple and blue forest scene, the appearance of snow on the horizon. These three paintings were originally created for part of the Easthampton City Arts+ Small Works show in 2013. The originals are all 5x7". ©2013
