"Guardians of the Birch: Green Beginnings" is an original watercolor painting by Victoria K. Chapman. Part of a three piece set, "Guardians of the Birch" works as solo paintings or as a triptych, depicting stylized outlines of deer leaping through a birch forest. This part of the set shows two deer, a stag and a doe, running through the green and yellow spring forest, alive with new growth. These three paintings were originally created for part of the Easthampton City Arts+ Small Works show in 2013. The originals are all 5x7". ©2013
