New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill

I’m so excited to be returning to New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill for more workshops during Indigenous People’s Day weekend! This year, NEBG will be hosting a Myths, Magic, and Monsters Enchanted Weekend with all kinds of family-friendly activities. I’ll be hosting two of those workshops on Monday, October 9th, 2023. These are drop-in style workshops where you can come and create with your family and go as you please. No registration necessary.

Grown-ups, please supervise your little ones. Thank you!
Both workshops will take place in the Southeast Link, just past the Limonaia.

Paint Your Own Mythical Monster
10:30am-12:00pm
All Ages

Come paint your own mythical monster with me! If you had a pet monster, what would they be like? Would they be furry or have scales? Would they have big eyes or many eyes? Perhaps they have wings or a tail or none at all. Would they be friendly or maybe a little grumpy? Paint your mythical pet monster and bring them to life! All materials are provided. Take your painting home with you.

Make A Magic Wand
2:00pm-3:30pm
All Ages

Make a magic wand with me! Use elements of nature and your imagination to create your very own magic wand! Start with an ordinary twig and turn it into something special. Sticks, paint, glitter, gems, and ribbons will be provided to make this magical accessory for kids of all ages. All materials are provided. Take your magic wand home with you.
