Artist Profile:
Victoria K. Chapman is a fine artist and illustrator specializing in colorful compositions that celebrate the beauty and spirit of nature. She primarily creates watercolor mixed media pieces, but has experience in many mediums, including acrylics and pastels. Victoria also writes and teaches about creating art and living mindfully, writes and records music, and is an active pre-published children’s picture book writer and illustrator. She has three picture book dummies and several picture book manuscripts available for review. Victoria has participated in a variety of group and solo art exhibitions and events in New England and beyond. Victoria received her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of Connecticut in illustration in 2004. She has sold her work online, in stores, and at special events and helped found and run a local arts organization. Victoria is passionate about the environment, nature, and celebrating the rich diversity of people and cultures on the planet. Her mission is to share the joy of nature and caring for others through art, stories, and teaching.
